 Customer Qualifications
Possession of our catalog or price list does not constitute the right to buy Emperia Products. We sell to businesses actively involved in picture framing. These businesses must meet the following guidelines:
 
·         Operate a full-time business
·         Have regular business hours
·         Have a Yellow Page Phone listing in a picture framing category or trade related
·         Have a resale tax number
·         Have a local business license(where required)
 
 
New Accounts, Open Accounts & Establishing Credit
To establish credit, please fill out our credit application as instructed. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing. To order immediately or when no trade references are yet available, you may use your VISA or MASTER CARD.   Absolutely NO COD shipments on new accounts. 
All OPEN ACCOUNT payments are NET/30. A $20.00 handling fee is charged on all returned checks.
 
 
C.O.D. Shipments
C.O.D. shipments are costly and time-consuming. We have several criteria for collecting in this manner.
·         The customer has requested to be C.O.D.
·         Open account payment has not been received in a timely fashion. In such cases, orders will be shipped C.O.D. plus any outstanding past due balance(s).
·         NO C.O.D. shipments to NEW Accounts. Credit Cards ONLY.
 
 
Credit Card Payment
Only VISA and MASTER CARD are accepted. Please inquire.
 
 
Sales-Tax Exempt Status
In order to meet individual state regulations pertaining to sales tax exemption status, we must have on file your States sales tax exemption certificate. We must charge sales tax if we do not have the completed form on file in our offices.

Placing an Order
Please provide the following information:
·         Your Emperia account number
·         Your Company Name and City
·         Stock #, Quantity, Chop or Length, Size(s)
·         If shipping instructions are not given, we will ship at our own discretion.
Normally, any order(s) received before 12:00 noon (CT) will be shipped the same day.
We have 24 hour voicemail for orders placed outside our normal operational hours.
 
Ordering Length Molding
When Ordering small quantities of molding in length, please specify how you would like the molding cut, example;
·         Cut 7 & balance
·         Cut 6 & balance
·         Cut 5 & balance
United Parcel Service - maximum length is 9 feet
Spee-Dee Delivery       - maximum length is 10 feet
 
Length Discounts
·         100 - 249 feet assorted   - 10%
·         250 - 499 feet assorted   - 15%
·         500 ft or more-assorted - 20%
·         Free Shipping on Orders over $2000.00
                 
Ordering Chop Service
Minimum chop length is 4 inches. Minimum of 3 feet charged per chop. Chop allowances – 1/8 inch is the norm. Site cuts and exact cuts upon request.
 
Chop Service Discounts
·         3 – 5 chops – 5%
·         6 – 9 chops – 10%
·         10 or more - 15%
 
Joining Service

Chop Price plus 40% ($8.00 minimum) applies to our joining service. Additional packing charges will be incurred. Allow additional time for this service.

 
Thumb Nail (Custom Wedge Service)
·         One Wedge per corner - $5.00 per frame
·         Two Wedges per corner - $7.00 per frame
·         Three or more Wedges per corner - $9.00 per frame
Allow additional time for this service.
 
Minimum Orders and Handling Fees
A $3.00 handling fee applies on Chop Orders under $35.00. 
A $5.00 handling fee applies on Length Orders under 50 feet assorted or under $100.00.

·         Shipping/Transportation of Orders
United Parcel Service is our carrier of choice to all States beyond Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota & South Dakota. Spee-Dee Delivery Service is available to most areas in the above mentioned States. We also ship VIA Federal Express and Airborne Express upon request.   We use Overnight Transportation Service for truck shipments.
 
·         Upon Receiving Your Shipment
Inspect your shipment for shipping damage.
 
·         Returns
Returns will not be accepted after 30 days from invoice date.
Credit will not be issued for returns which are not properly packed and subsequently damaged in shipment back to Emperia.
 
 
·         Back Orders
We do not automatically place out-of-stock items on back order. We do so upon your request. You will be called before your back order is shipped. Back Orders do not receive free freight.
 
·         F.O.B.
All prices are F.O.B. , St.Paul, Minnesota, in U.S. Dollars.
 
·         Disclaimer
Current price lists supercede all previous price lists and quotations. We are not responsible for pricing or printing errors.   Orders will be billed at prices prevailing at time of shipment.
