Customer Qualifications

Possession of our catalog or price list does not constitute the right to buy Emperia products. We sell to businesses actively involved in picture framing. These businesses must meet the following guidelines:

• Operate a full-time business
• Have regular business hours
• Have a Yellow Page Phone listing in a picture framing category
• Have a resale tax number
• Have a local business license (where required)

Open Accounts

To establish credit, please fill out our credit application as instructed. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing. To order immediately or when no trade references are yet available, you may use your VISA or MASTERCARD. Other accounts are C.O.D. or prepaid. A $5.00 charge is applicable when an account is C.O. D.

All OPEN account payments are NET/30. We will charge a $20.00 handling fee on any returned check(s).

Sales Tax Exemption

In order to meet individual state regulations pertaining to sales tax exemption we must have on file your state's sales tax exemption certificate. We must charge sales tax if we do not have the completed form on file.

C.O.D. (Cash On Delivery) Shipments:

C.O.D. shipments are costly and time-consuming. Emperia has several criteria for collecting in this manner.

1. Customer has requested this method
2. All new accounts are C.O.D. until credit has been approved
3. Open account payment has not been received in a timely fashion, in such case, orders will be shipped C.O.D. plus any outstanding past due balances.

Credit Cards

We accept VISA and MASTERCARD for charge purchases.

Minimum Orders

A $3.00 Handling Charge will apply on all Chop Orders under $35.00.
A $5.00 Handling Charge will apply on Length Orders under 50 feet assorted or under $100.00

When Receiving Your Shipment

Inspect your shipment for shipping damage, flaws, correct sizes and stock numbers.

When ordering

When placing your order please provide the following information:

• Your Emperia account number.
• Your Company name and city.
• If shipping instructions are not given, we will ship at our own discretion.

Shipping Time

Normally, any order received before 12:00 noon central time will be shipped the same day.

Shipping Method

Spee-Dee is used in Minnesota, Wisconsin and those cities of Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota which are on the Minnesota border. United Parcel Service will be used for all other order destinations.

Returns

No returns will be authorized after 30 days from your receipt of the merchandise. We will not issue a credit for merchandise that has not been properly packed for return shipment if it has been damaged.

Length Service

When ordering small quantities of Length Moulding to be shipped Via UPS, please specify how you would like us to cut the moulding. UPS maximum length is 9 feet.

Example: 10 foot lengths = 7 & 3, 5 & 5, 6 & 4

Length Discounts:

• 500 feet assorted = 10%
• 1000 feet assorted = 15%
• 2000 feet assorted = 20%

Chop Service

1/8" is normal allowance. 10% discount on 10 or more chops assorted. The minimum chop length is 4". There is a 3' minimum charge per chop frame.

Joining Service

The charge for this service is the normal chop price plus 25% with a $5.00 minimum charge per frame. Wrapping, packing and shipping will be in addition. Allow additional time for this special service.

Custom Wedge Service

Sample Payment

Corner samples are shipped C.O.D. to all New Accounts.

Prices & Configuration

Corner samples will be 6" joined chevrons. If you require a special size, we will send them as you specify at an additional charge. Sample prices equal 1 (one) Foot of Moulding. We offer a discount of 5% off for each 5 samples ordered - (5% for 5, 10% for 10, etc., with a limit of 50% total discount offered)

Reimbursement Program

We do not "GIVE AWAY" our Corner Samples. After we have received payment for your samples we will send you $4.00 coupons equal to your investment. When you buy Emperia merchandise, you may submit one (1) coupon with each invoice, and subtract $4.00 from that invoice total.
